I took this picture outside of my apartment on Sunday. I think the buds all opened on the same day- I walked outside and was taken back by all of the pink that had magically appeared!!

- Originally a ceramist, I had been longing to find an art form that I enjoyed and could practice in my one bedroom apartment that I shared with my wonderful boyfriend and adorable puppy. After taking a course in glass fusing and a class in precious metal clay, I decided to dive head first and purchase my very first kiln. I think my love for this kind of jewelry making goes back to my love of ceramics. I love building something with my hands, then giving it up to the kiln gods and seeing the transformation of a piece when you open the warm door of the kiln.

Yes, we definately do need to get together and trade ideas:) I may be promoting up a storm, but it's not resulting in much other than page views...the shop is yawning.
